Premium and tax assumptions are visible

Published local rates may include a physical premium. Making or minting fees and the selected VAT treatment are calculated separately below.

Purity

Zero-rating requires at least 99% purity and a form tradable in global bullion markets. Other transaction and reverse-charge rules may apply. Verify the actual tax invoice with a UAE tax professional and the Federal Tax Authority guidance.

Method

A simple calculation that can be inspected.

The calculator converts weight, applies either purity-adjusted live spot or a published local reference, adds the selected fee, and shows the chosen VAT scenario.

Weight

1 troy ounce equals 31.1034768 grams. One tola equals 11.6638038 grams. Kilograms are converted to 1,000 grams.

Purity

Entered weight is multiplied by fineness. For example, 916 fineness represents 91.6% pure metal.

Currency

International spot is read in USD per troy ounce and converted at the configured USD/AED rate of 3.674. The display can switch between AED and USD.

What it does not include

A calculated total is not a transaction price.

The physical premium is a mathematical comparison with a published reference—not a promise that metal can be bought or sold at that spread.

Making charges, product form, eligibility for zero-rating, reverse-charge treatment, and the final invoice depend on the actual transaction.
